Festival Città Impresa is a place of international debate on the key questions of the contemporary economy and society: every year, during spring, the Festival Città Impresa turns the spotlight on the business-cities of Palladian tradition that dot the megalopolis of the Venetian regions, following and interpreting the trajectories of development and the great urban and anthropological transformations that cross the territory and its production.
The seventh edition of the Festival was entitled New Alphabets for the Economy and took place in Vicenza, the city that is a symbol for the new medium-sized enterprises, for the industrial past of Veneto (with examples such as Lanerossi and Marzotto) and for the advent of advanced manufacturing.
Peoplerise, partner of the edition, took care of, in collaboration with AIDP Gruppo Triveneto, the appointment entitled “People Intelligence Platforms”.
People Intelligence is like Business Intelligence, but more specifically tailored for people management, to collect data and reveal trends, areas of improvement and insights related to the way the organization and its managers and employees collaborate. A People Intelligence platform enables organizations to make decisions about their culture and their people as a result of concrete data. This data, collected in real time, then allows organizations to increase employee engagement, be proactive in problem solving, and maintain a competitive advantage based on company culture. People Intelligence, if managed carefully and not superficially, makes engagement a real management lever thanks to the important support of data, which is useful to activate actions and decisions focused on real needs, monitoring the effects over time.
So how do you build organizations that succeed in motivating their people? The working world has changed a lot over the years, and there are few companies that know what is required of them to be successful organizations. It is certainly very difficult to build a strong and lasting corporate culture, it is necessary to focus on the power of engagement, awareness and creativity, because management innovation is the new real productivity.
The meeting was structured in two consecutive stages. The introduction speech was given by Didier Elzinga, CEO and founder of Culture Amp, our Australian partner and creator of a platform that allows you to measure the level of engagement and performance which we at Peoplerise have been using for years with our clients.
This was followed by a debate in which the following participants took part: Anna Comacchio, Professor of Management at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice – Antonio Di Stefano, our managing partner and co-founder of Peoplerise – Giorgio Soffiato, CEO of Marketing Arena – Luca Vignaga, HR Director of Marzotto Group – Sebastiano Zanolli, author and motivational speaker and finally Maurizio Zordan, President of Zordan. Mediated by Luca Marcolin, partner The Family Unit Business.
